All-American Men of War (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 1952.
Synopsis for "Killer Bait"
Pete Clayton was taking point for his outfit, making sure that their path ahead was clear. He neutralized a machine gun nest, but was out of ammo, when an enemy soldier shot at him, so he hit him with his rifle. Then, Sarge ordered Mac to take point. Mac was gone for a while, so Pete decided to look for him, but an enemy barrage attacked them. When Pete found Mac, the latter told the former that the "only way home" was through the enemy. The American forces began a counterattack as Pete realized that Mac was right.
