A.P.E.S. was formed to monitor superhero activity. The organization had many encounters with Young Justice members Robin, Superboy, and Impulse, predating the formation of the group itself.

The All-Purpose Enforcement Squad (A.P.E.S.) was a secretive branch of the United States Government with ties to every federal organization from the FBI to the CIA, and even the DEO.

Two of their top agents were Donald Fite and Ishido Maad, together forming the duo "Fite 'n Maad".

History

A.P.E.S. was formed to monitor superhero activity. The organization had many encounters with Young Justice members Robin, Superboy, and Impulse, predating the formation of the group itself. The youthful band of superheroes were hounded by A.P.E.S. and their "Fite 'n Maad" for interfering with their operations.

When Fite 'n Maad kidnapped Nina Dowd and was placed in a cocoon, Young Justice arrived freed the now "Mighty Endowed".[1] The duo appeared again when after the boys stopped Tora, they were confronted by Fite 'n Maad about the whereabouts of Secret. When "Mighty Endowed" tried to escape captivity, Fite 'n Maad were the ones to bring her down.[2] They also tried unsuccessfully to keep Red Tornado contained when he attempted to escape the courthouse with his step-daughter Traya Sutton after the judge had declared him an unfit parent.

When Donald Fite discovered that his daughter Anita was secretly Empress, a member of Young Justice, A.P.E.S. finally became allies to the team, reluctantly cooperating on several missions.
