Even the Justice Society is powerless to halt Kulak, but Sargon the Sorceror arrives to lend a hand with his magical Ruby of Life, mystically guiding Fate back to Earth. Still, Kulak manages to overpower his enemies and claims the Helmet of Nabu for himself, putting it on and planning to make himself even more powerful. However it backfires, causing the ancient priest to see his true loathsome self and blasts him through an infinity of dimensions, taking the magical helmet with him.

  • Per page 20 of this story, the Helmet of Fate and the Ring of Life were lost when Kulak was banished through an infinity of dimensions; the Ring of Life would be, later in 1942, the means of restoring life to the body of Jim Corrigan.[1] The Helmet was recovered years later by Doctor Fate under never explained events.
