Hamilton invents a potion intended to make people shrink, and thinks it works when the dog he left drinking it trades places with a puppy. Hamilton knocks some more chemicals into the mixture while talking to reporters on the phone, and when Egbert splashes some on his face to prove it doesn't work it actually shrinks him down.

Synopsis for Two-Gun Percy: "Phoney Fronts"

While Percy is in the saloon talking to the sheriff the sheriff sees someone about to enter and quickly deputies Percy and flees. Bill Bunion walks in shooting, scares Percy and announces that he'll be robbing the bank the next day. Percy sets a trap so that Bill walks straight into a jail cell thinking it's the bank.

Dover and Clover overhear a man making a call asking to be let in on the trick McTicker is using to make a killing in the stock market. The assume he's talking about a murder, assault him and wreak his shop. When he goes to warn McTicker about their impending intended assault they follow him, chased by a cop, and it's revealed that McTicker has been using fraud and lies to swindle people in order to manipulate the stock market in his own favor while his clients lose money.
