Synopsis for "Episode Ten"

James Gordon is on the docks, talking about Batman, saying that a cop found an injured Catwoman in an alley, and she told him to give a note to Batman. He then walks away. Unbeknownst to him, Batman and Robin are under the docks, hearing his entire conversation. Batman and Robin then head into the sewers and hop on a train to find Catwoman. They find her, unconscious and covered in blood. Batman comforts her while Robin calls Alfred to have a chopper come pick them up. Meanwhile, Batgirl is skateboarding through town, beating up thugs, until the police catch her and arrest her. Black Canary is in the Black Canary bar and burns her money, thus causing a fire, killing all of the unconscious men inside. She rides off on her motorcycle. Gordon then finds out his daughter is in prison and his wife is in the hospital because of a drunk driving accident. Gordon visits his wife and then his daughter. His daughter shocks him by saying he should call Sarah. The comic ends with him calling Sarah.

Notes

  • Following previous delays in issue releases and the expectation of more to come following this issue, the series ended here. This issue itself met with severe delays due to a misprint in the first printing of the book, which required a recall. Further issues arose when there was a misprint in the bar codes, requiring retailers to download the correct one from the internet. Though a follow-up series, meant to complete the story, was promised for a 2011 release, this did not happen, and Miller was quoted as having only just begun working with Jim Lee on the project in 2015.
  • This issue is reprinted in the absolute edition of All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder.
