Synopsis for "He's Gotta Be Strong And He's Gotta Be Fast And He's Gotta Be Fresh From The Fight"

After his sudden appearance at Noonan's Bar Superman brings Sixpack to the Fortress of Solitude where Sidney explains how he is questioning his existence - whether his life is real or if it is all merely a dream he is having whilst sleeping out in the cold like he saw in a vision.[1] Inside the men's bathroom The Grapplah! is urinating before having a moment of solemn realization and fires his grappling hook at a pipe in the ceiling.

Before returning to Noonan's, Superman and Sixpack make a detour by Guinness Park where Sixpack used to sleep and once fought Killer Croc, although Sidney believes it to have been, again, a figment of his imagination the two discover a statue of him reading "Superhero and savior of the world". Superman reassures him that everything is fine and brings him back to the bar where the other locals are going through their own struggles. Dogwelder II's wife and children arrive to take him home but the mute does not reply, instead he welds the family dog to them all.

Rushing back inside Noonan's Sixpack spills drink on the floor near Powertool who electrocutes himself when he powers-up. Sixpack, attempting to rally the other members of Section Eight runs inside the bathroom to find the Grapplah dangling from his grappling gun, having hung himself.

Unperturbed Sidney rushes out into the street to vanquish evil and save his personal dream-universe while he lies cold in the street, covered by Superman's cloak for warmth.
