Quote1 The truth is, i was ashamed of being in the Arañas, and I was afraid if I told you the truth about my past that you would stop trusting me. I thought there was too much at stake for me to be honest about who I really am. But it was lying about my past and keeping you in the dark that lost your trust. I am the light meta in those photos, and I've never really told anyone that before. And right now, I'm going to save us. All you have to do is trust me. Quote2

Allegra Garcia, also known as Wavelength,[1] is a writer and supervising editor at The Central City Citizen Media and a member of Team Flash with the power of manipulate electromagnetic energy. She was formerly a car thief and a member of Esperanza Garcia's gang.

Origins

Allegra and her mother were abandoned by her father when she was born, and her mother blamed her for this, causing her to look elsewhere for father figures. As a teen, Allegra became a criminal and was incarcerated in Iron Heights Penitentiary with her cousin Esperanza, where she became a metahuman after the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion.[4][5][6]

Joining Team Flash

Allegra was later framed by Esperanza for her crimes, but she was saved by Cecile Horton and the Flash and was eventually released, joining the CC Citizen sometime later. After helping Nash Wells, he told Allegra that Barry Allen is the Flash, and she also joined Team Flash to help them fight against Bloodwork.[6][7][8][9]
