Princess Allura of Zarikan was kidnapped by Sinestra when the Nazi arrived in her country while fleeing justice.

History

While swimming in one of her small kingdoms famous underwater rivers Allura and her handmaidens were abducted by Sinestra, who then posed as a priestess of the water goddess Vultura and forced the king to pay her exorbitant tribute for the return of his daughter. She then refused to return Allura and sabotaged the wind-powered water supply of Zarikan before being captured by Wonder Woman. Allura was thankful for her rescue by the Amazon princess and considered her an inspiration for how she herself wanted to act.
