Altered Strain are a group of people with the meta-gene but do not have any powers. They want government money to develop the powers and recognition that they are a separate species and should rule as gods.

History

Altered Strain attempted to bribe the Government into giving them money by sending Quentin Eastly to Frisco to kidnap the vice-president, but he was stopped by the Flash. Altered Strain then attempted to kill the Flash by destroying the plane that he was travelling on. However, the Flash beat the two members that Altered Strain sent to kill him.
