Ambrose Venture was an enemy to Wonder Woman.
History
Venture came up with a plan to have Roba Jewel get invited to Paradise Island and then lead him there via a hidden radio so that he could steal the water from the Fountain of Youth. Instead as soon as Roba tried to take any, as an outsider and not a sworn Amazon it caused the Fountain to stop flowing and go dry.
