Synopsis for "Aberration Part Two"

Anarky flies back to Washington DC, using the Green Lantern ring he found to deface political billboards and stop crime along the way, while wrestling with the revelation that he was adopted as a baby. He arrives to find the city caught up in a freak storm, caused by the Aberration finally manifesting physically as a giant monster. He uses the ring to save some innocent bystanders, then the monster vanishes.

A gang led by a man called Stamper rob a store under cover of the storm, but despite the weather Lt Dan Ryne and Officer Stevens show up to arrest them. However, the Aberration appears, assaulting both cops and criminals. Anarky appears, saving them and helping the police make the arrest before chasing after the Aberration. Ryne leaves Stevens to take the robbers back to the precinct while he follows Anarky.

Kyle Rayner sees Anarky fly past his window and suits up to investigate why there's a power ring on Earth that he didn't know about. Anarky, exerting all his willpower, momentarily traps the Aberration, but it breaks free and changes the air to something he can't breathe. After using his ring to make a mask and oxygen tank, he rescues Ryne from asphyxiation, then decides that force isn't working and he needs to reason with it. While attempting this, he falls into the extradimensional space inside its body.

Inside the Aberration, Anarky learns that it has no consciousness or goals, and is only trying to ease its own pain by distorting reality to match itself. The monster ejects him and vanishes. While he's despairing over how to stop it before it destroys everything, Kyle appears and demands the ring, attacking when Anarky refuses. Outmatched, Anarky tells Max to activate a contingency plan, and his suit blasts Green Lantern with yellow light. However, even with his powers negated, Kyle turns out to be a sufficiently skilled hand-to-hand combatant to knock Anarky out.
