Angel Breaker is a former pupil of Zealot and Black Canary who became a member of the League of Shadows under Talia al Ghul.
History
The woman who came to be known as Angel Breaker took her name from a sword once owned by Zealot. She was found, homeless and lost, unsure of her past, and was taught the ways of the Kherubim and the Coda Sisterhood. Entrusted with the knowledge of the sword by Zealot herself, she stole it and ran away, going to be trained with others such as Black Canary, Lady Shiva, and Talia al Ghul, as well as developing something akin to a relationship with Ghost-Maker. According to Angel Breaker herself, the sword spoke to her and told her that she needed to train with "the greatest sisters of this world" in order to face a threat that was coming and only she could face alone.[1]
Following the assassination of Ra's al Ghul by someone claiming to be Deathstroke, Angel Breaker, like others of the Shadows, was called forth to assassinate the supposed killer as part of the Demon's Shadow.[2] During the Shadow War, she acted as Talia's right hand, and as the field leader of the Demon's Shadow.
Following the war, she took command of the League of Shadows, following the surrender of Talia to the D.E.O. In doing so, she took them into hiding, as she had been before the war was declared.[3]
