- Angel O'Day was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Bob Oksner, first appearing in Showcase #77. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Angel O'Day first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Dial H for Hero #1 by Sam Humphries and Joe Quinones.
- Although Angel O'Day did not make an appearance in Prime Earth continuity until Dial H for Hero #1, she had earlier been mentioned in Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S. #5.
