Synopsis for "Family Feud"

Sam temporarily succeeds in using his mental influence to get Grodd to leave but, in retaliation, Grodd threatens Dumb Bunny, thereby incurring Angel's wrath. Angel shoots Grodd and Grodd hits her with his mind powers, knocking her into a brief coma. While Sam, Dumb Bunny and the newly arrived Inferior Five fight with Grodd, the Green Glob shows Angel Grodd and Sam's history. She awakens from her coma remembering everything and learns that Grodd has escaped taking Sam with him. Angel goes back to Sam's apartment and informs the disguised Gorillas of Grodd's new warehouse location (which she learned from the Glob). While the Inferior Five try to get a cab, Angel tells Dumb Bunny that she told Sam about Bunny's interest in him and how she felt it was a good idea if it made her happy. This is overheard by a distressed Merryman.

Meanwhile, Grodd explains his motivations to Sam and that he has found an alternative to killing off humanity if Sam helps. He shows Sam the Green Glob, an intelligent machine capable of altering reality - but Grodd has been unable to make its changes permanent. He believes Sam's influence power may work and scans Sam's mind looking for a desire he can exploit. He discovers that what Sam wants is a human female. This is overheard by Merryman, Angel, and Dumb Bunny who believes it is her Sam wants. Grodd continues insisting that it's Angel he wants. This causes Dumb Bunny to snap and attack both Grodd and Sam. Merryman steps in front of her and refuses to move as he tries to calm her down. This gives Grodd the opportunity to change them all into gorillas.
