Animal Man is a super-hero who can use the abilities of any animal. His powers are gained from tapping into the morphogenic field, giving him the power of any animal on the planet and sometimes the universe. In his secret identity he is a stuntman, with a wife named Ellen and two children Cliff and Maxine living in San Diego. He has been a member of the Forgotten Heroes and Justice League Europe. Animal Man was created by Dave Wood and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Strange Adventures #180.
