Annette Westman was an old classmate of Lois Lane's from back in Metropolis High School.
History
When Annette Westman was in high school, she was constantly bullied by Lois Lane and her friends, in regards to her weight, braces, and wardrobe. Years later, she started her own successful cosmetic company. Still yearning for revenge, she created a shrinking serum that would allow her to kidnap the spouses of her former tormentors. She successfully shrank the spouses of two of her former tormentors and placed them in a doll house.
Annette reunited with Lois at their high school reunion, where she was also introduced to her fiancé, Clark Kent. After the reunion, she sent a bottle of shrinking serum to Kent, but due to his superpowers the effects were delayed, leaving her unable to capture him.
Lois had conducted her own investigation into the missing spouses and confronted Annette. Annette tried to shoot her with a pistol, but the shrunken Superman was hiding in her pocket and blocked the bullet. In the ensuing fight, a vial of serum was spilled on her. The formula was so strong it shrank Annette away to nothing.
Dr. Klein made an antidote to restore everybody, but there was nothing left of Annette to restore.[1]
