Annie McCloud is one of the members of the League of Smiles, a group of mentally unwell Gothamites whose obsessions with the Joker were exploited by the Merrymaker when the Joker returned to Gotham wearing his severed face.

• Mental Disorder: According to Dr. Merideth's notes accessed by Batman, McCloud was diagonosed with bipolar disorder and a severe case of aichmommania - the attraction to being punctured and poked with sharp objects. Along with the rest of the League of Smiles, she also displayed acute antisocial behavior and a deep-rooted need to be controlled.

• Obsession: Like all the members of the League of Smiles, Happy had an unhealthy obsession and admiration for the Joker.
