Zatan was an enemy of Captain Marvel Jr.
History
Zatan is a member of a race of human-sized, intelligent ants existing peacefully in a hidden village located somewhere within the Amazon jungles. Greedy to a fault, Zatan wants nothing less than to rule Ant City himself and will stop at nothing to achieve this. Like all members of his race, he has superhumanly powerful legs that enable him to leap great distances, and the impressive strength of an ant magnified to the proportions of his human size. Zatan's bid to rule Ant City is ultimately stopped by the costumed hero Captain Marvel Jr. Zatan himself is then imprisoned, and has not been seen since.
Notes
- This version of Ant Crook, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
