Anthony Rodriguez clone (New Earth)

Anthony "Big Words" Rodriguez was a clone of the original Anthony Rodriguez, a scientist who once adventured as a member of the original Newsboy Legion.

History

He was created at a secret underground facility outside of Metropolis known as Project Cadmus. Anthony joined with four other boys, themselves, all clones of the original team, and formed the modern day Newsboy Legion. The Newsboy Legion were instrumental in freeing another clone, Superboy, from the Cadmus laboratories and helping him to escape the facility by way of a drainage ditch.^[1]

Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
