Anthony Wayne was an 18th Century ancestor of Bruce Wayne and guerrilla fighter of the colonial times.

History

Anthony earned his nickname "Mad" for charging British redcoats like a maddened bull. Like his descendant, Anthony worked alongside a sidekick and partner named Robby Douglas.

At one point during the war, Batman travelled back in time and met Anthony Wayne, discovering that the two of them were nearly identical.
