- Anthro was created by Howie Post, first appearing in Showcase #74. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Anthro first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in The Flash (Volume 5) #27 by Joshua Williamson, Paul Pelletier, and Howard Porter.
