Synopsis for "Journey to the Island of Green!"

Anthro and his family are attacked by the Sub-Men, and must defend their stores of food for the winter. They successfully drive them off with superior tools and weapons. Ne-ahn plans on killing a straggler, but Anthro convinces him not to... because there is no noble purpose in slaying a defenseless animal. The winter becomes increasingly terrible and the family runs out of food. It becomes necessary for them to leave their land and its winter climate to search for warmer areas further south. They must prepare supplies for the journey.

Before leaving his home, Anthro goes to visit his beloved Embra and tells her that he will not be able to see her for sometimes. He will mark his trail so that she will be able to follow him when her people migrate as well. The two embrace, but her father Chief Tugg catches them together and attempts to assault the boy for his trespasses. As Anthro escapes, Tugg reveals that he actually respects and admires the young lad for his bravery and persistence in pursuing her... he plans on allowing them to get married once her older sister Ita has been wed as per custom.
