- Fadeaway Man was created by Len Wein and Rich Buckler, first appearing in Detective Comics #479. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Fadeaway Man first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #4 by Josh Trujillo and Adrián Gutiérrez.
