Synopsis for "Plan of the Apes (or Rise of, Battle for, and Eventual Conquest of the Legion of D(oo-oo-ah-ah)m)"

With Gorrila Grodd in prison Monsieur Mallah, trying to find out who he is outside of a relationship after his breakup with the Brain, decides to become the new top gorilla villain. He assembles a team of gorilla supervillains to take over first a human city, and from there Gorilla City.

Sam Simeon and Detective Chimp work two separate cases involving the kidnapping of monkeys which lead them both to Bludhaven. They realises the cases are linked when suddenly new hero Monkey Prince stumbles in, bruised and missing an arm. He tells them he was attacked by Mallah, who ripped his arm off. He leads them back to where Mallah jumped him, but they are suddenly attacked by Titano, bigger and stronger than ever. Detective Chimp runs off and the rest of Mallah's band, which includes Marcus' grandfather the Ultra-Humanite, arrive and square off against Monkey Prince and Sam.

The two heroes fend off the villains until Detective Chimp returns with backup: Gleek and Beppo the Super-Monkey. The two sides battle but the villains are mysteriously stronger than usual. Detective Chimp sees Mallah run off to deal with his "ultimate weapon" and tells Sam to follow him. Sam trails Mallah to a warehouse where, to his horror, he finds that Mallah and a monkey wizard named Eek-Gor have cut the arms of the kidnapped monkeys to use as magic monkey paws, and have been casting wishes to increase the villain's powers. Mallah plans to use Monkey Prince's arm and its magic to cast the final wish. Sam runs out to put and end to what is happening, and both the heroes and villains appear, having followed them. Mallah orders the others to attack but, horrified at what he has done to their kind, they beat him up and abandon him.

Monkey Prince is able to reattach the arms to the kidnapped monkeys. The Titans show up to help with cleanup and hand Mallah over to the Gorilla City authorities.

Synopsis for Monkey Prince in "Call to Arms"

Since Marcus regained his arm after his fight with Monsieur Mallah, it has been acting strangely, writing thing he did not mean to write. Eventually he punches himself in the face during a math test and makes excuses to leave the classroom. He transforms into Monkey Prince and his arm rips off at the elbow and flies away. He chases it to a warehouse where he finds Ultra-Humanite and Eek-Gor with dozens of clones of his arm, which they are planning to use as magic monkey paws. Eek-Gor uses a helmet to control the cloned arms and attack Marcus with them, but he transforms the cloned arms into hairs and knocks Eek-Gor out. Gerard pulls out the remote for the nanites in Marcus' blood, but Marcus says he knows Gerard won't use the nanites now if he didn't use them in Bludhaven. Gerard admits that he is right and he doesn't actually want to hurt Marcus, and tosses the remote aside. Marcus says he is going to deliver Eek-Gor to the proper authorities but won't take his grandfather in, at least not yet. Marcus leaves with Eek-Gor and says he will see Gerard for family dinner on Sunday.
