Synopsis for "Inversions"
Arthur and Oliver fly to S.T.A.R. Labs in a Queen Industries jet, planning to have themselves examined to determine what has happened to them. Along the way they discuss what they remember and determine that they have each other's memories as well as their own. The false memories seem more vivid and real, while their true memories are faint.
They are attacked by Scorpio fighter jets and Arthur orders the pilot to take them over water. Oliver climbs out of the plane to fight the jets, while Arthur secures himself with a line and harness to fight off a boarding party. The pilot, who is working for Scorpio, takes the jet near an island and the attackers on the plane detonate suicide bombs, bringing the plane down and forcing Arthur and the co-pilot Murray to jump out. Their parachute is damaged but Oliver is able to create a pillar of water to catch them. They wash up on the island and are attacked by General Anderton, who kills Murray.
