Synopsis for "Forever"

Arthur and Oliver have been captured by General Anderton and taken to a Scorpio base. It's revealed that Scorpio have been making minor changes to the timeline for two years to amass power and wealth, and before they switched places the two heroes were on Scorpio's trail despite their attempts to cover their tracks. Anderton questions them to find out how.

Arthur became aware that someone was interfering with the timeline when ancient Atlanteans began appearing within the city. Atlanteans scientists detected a distinctive tachyon signature at the site where they appeared, which Arthur matched to energy readings the Justice League picked up from a seemingly insignficiant building in Star City. Meanwhile, a construction worker employed by one of Scorpio's front companies was killed while working after hours to meet deadlines and Oliver swore to bring the men responsible to justice, following a series of shell companies to the same building in Star City. They broke in independently and met up inside, eventually stumbling across the time platform. Scorpio scientists monitoring the building decided to remotely activate the platform with them on it to try and replicate the accident that fused General Anderton with a dinosaur, but when it powered up Arthur tackled Oliver off the platform as he shot out the main projector, causing it to malfunction. The resulting accident caused them to swap lives.

Suddenly Arthur appears to die of a heart attack, but in reality he has realistically faked his death using a technique which Oliver learned in Nanda Parbat and he now remembers. When Scorpio medics untie him he wakes up, overpowers them and frees Oliver. They escape and fight their way out of the facility, only to find that they are on the Moon.
