Upon confronting Mera and Aquaman, Lex states that he has full authority to carry out the mining as he's within national borders but gets told by Arthur that the entire sea is his kingdom. Synopsis for "Girls' Night Out"

While hanging out with Mera, Tula complains that she's being bored and thinks it strange that she decided to hang out near the Atlantean royal vault. As she talks about spending time in social outings in one of the human cities and getting to personally know Mera, the latter attacks the monsters guarding the vault. Knowing she can't beat them all, Tula is forced to join the fight before Mera users her hydrokinetic power to blow everyone away.

At the vault door, Mera asks Tula to place her hand on the fingerprint scanner to gain access and the latter criticizes for never caring about her and using her with an excuse of hanging out. She also calls her self-entitled for romancing Arthur she was sent to assassinate and now robbing his family heirlooms. This angers Mera who grans her hand places it on the scanner, before showing her mother's heirlooms which the Atlantean royal guard stole while raiding Xebel.

While she agrees that Xebelians were wrong in trying to kill Arthur, Mera tells Tula they did it due to Atlantis' oppression and states she brought her here as she trusted her. Tula apologizes and is hugged by Mera after being hurt by her stating she didn't know how to approach her, though she realizes it was awkward for her. Mera gifts Tula her aunt's brooch before suggesting they visit Las Vegas next time.
