Synopsis for "Hometown Hero"
Meeka confronts Lucia at Ellec's graveside. It's revealed that Meeka was responsible for a lot of the murders she showed Lucia committing. Lucia departs, saying lies don't last forever.
Jackson has begrudgingly spent the night in Delilah's home. She tells him she wants to move past their conflict and get to know each other, and asks him what he wants to do. They go to a diner and Delilah tells him that he is needed in Xebel and his skills are wasted acting as Aquaman's sidekick. She also tells him that the reunification conference Mera will be attending tomorrow will achieve nothing. Suddenly, a stolen military craft being chased by the Xebelian Guard speeds past the building. They both rush out to stop it as it is headed into one of the city's most densely populated neighborhoods and many people could be hurt. They knock out the hijackers and manage to stop the craft from crashing into a crowd of children.
It's revealed that the hijackers were a cell of the Xebelian Liberation Front. Lucia breaks into the headquarters and takes over a drone which Meeka set to spy on Delilah, she brings it out into the open and causes it to explode in front of her. Jackson gets a call from Ha'Wea and swims off to meet him, while in the Front's headquarters, Meeka and her men catch Lucia downloading some data from their computer.
Jackson meets Ha'Wea at the statue of Lokua and they talk about what has happened, and Ha'Wea also tells Jackson that he may be able to help Xebel. Jackson goes back to Delilah's apartment and they hear someone break in. They find Lucia unconscious and beaten upstairs, holding an encrypted drive. They check the data and discover that the pictures of Lucia murdering Guardsmen were faked using the same technology the Front used to frame Jackson for the bombings, leaving Delilah devastated to learn that Meeka lied to her.
They find plans for the entire Front to attack the reunification conference, which will likely kill many innocent people, including Mera. Delilah says that they can't stop it, but Jackson replies that Aquaman can.
