Synopsis for "The Foxtail"
Aqauaman investigates reports of whales beaching themselves in the Bering Sea and finds a mother Volcano Squid attacking a Russian submarine. He tries to convince her to leave but cannot reach her mind with his telepathy. He remembers a time when Salty got a foxtail stuck in his ear and began acting erratically and realizes that a sonic weapon the Russians are testing is causing the Squid and the whales great pain. He forces the submarine to surface and warns them that if any Russian ship uses the weapon again he will sink them.

Synopsis for "Father's Day"
It's Father's Day, and Aqualad is doing what he does every year: meeting his father, the notorious supervillain Black Manta, in the middle of nowhere. Just like he does every year, Jackson tries to convince Manta to turn himself in, and just like every year Manta refuses and they fight. Aqualad knocks Manta's head off, revealing that just like every year it is a robot.

Synopsis for "Lady in the Lake"
Aquaman and Garth are following a trail of death in the ocean which leads them to a coastal cave. Arthur reminisces about their adventures together when Garth was younger, and Garth tells him he doesn't need Arthur to protect him anymore. They find the undead sorceress Viviane, who curses Garth when he tries to fight her. Arthur defeats her and saves Garth but as he teases his former sidekick about needing protection, Viviane attacks again and Garth blasts her away. Arthur concedes that they need to protect each other.

Synopsis for "It's a Family Affair"
The Aquaman Family's plans for a peaceful cookout are ruined when Peter Dudley, the grotesque Aquabeast, attacks. Dudley is obsessed with Mera and believes he can possess her if he destroys Arthur. Although Aquabeast's monstrous strength is too much for Aquaman alone, he cannot stand against the combined strength of the Aquaman Family. He is defeated and returned to his undersea prison.

Synopsis for "The Rhine Maidens"
Queen Mera of Atlantis and her lover Arthur Curry have infiltrated deep into Nazi territory to find the Rhine Maidens, mythical water nymphs cursed to obey the holder of the Golden Harp, which can only be claimed by a man who has foresworn love. Mera fights the Maidens while Arthur retrieves the harp, for while he loves Mera he has foresworn the love of power. They destroy the harp, freeing the Maidens of their curse.

Synopsis for "Between Two Shores"
A Trench is loose on the outskirts of Atlantis and has already injured Atlantean civilians. King Arthur and Mera are hunting the beast personally, as are rival local hunters Renn and Jabrim. Arthur and Mera find the Trench but when they try to finish it off, Jabrim stops them and reveals that the Trench is his adopted son who he found as a baby. Reminded of his own father, Aquaman defends them from Renn and his hunters.

Synopsis for "What Remains of a Storm"
Aquaman invites his brother, the Ocean Master, to meet with him at an isolated island so they can settle their differences. Orm accepts but expects a fight and as he swims to the island a storm brews. As Orm surfaces he sees two storms collide and launches himself into the heart of the chaos, riding the storm to the island. As Orm expected, Arthur blames him for the storm and attacks him, hoping to stop it before it reaches the island and destroys the village on the beach. They battle in the storm until it disperses over water, leaving the village unharmed. They each return to where they began, with nothing changed between them.

Synopsis for "Rebellion"
It has been several years since Atlantis annexed the surface country of Cerdia. An attempt has just been made on King Arthur's life and all signs point to Cerdian rebels. His bodyguards call for war but Arthur decides to head to the surface to confront Governor Bartella. She tells him that the people of Cerdia are happy to be united with Atlantis and the rebels are all but destroyed. She suggests that elements within Atlantis may be responsible. Arthur realizes that his guards were behind the attack and throws them in prison. He makes a speech to the people of both territories, reaffirming the unity between land and sea.

Synopsis for "Foreshadow"
The Aquaman Family is on vacation on an isolated tropical island. While playing on the beach, Andy digs up a jewel. Aqualad is training hard with Aquaman but worries that he is not getting better fast enough.
Jackson babysits Andy while Arthur and Mera go away for some "private time". A team of pirates lead by Scavenger come to the island looking for treasure, and they need Andy's jewel to find it. The attack the two Aqua-kids and Jackson flees with Andy into the jungle. They are discovered due to Andy's cries and Jackson tries to fight the pirates off, but he cannot protect Andy and himself at the same time and one of them knocks him out from behind while he is distracted saving her.
Just before Jackson loses consciousness Mera bursts out of the vegetation and furiously dispatches the pirates. When Jackson wakes up, Arthur assures him that he did well and Andy is alive because of him, but Jackson fears that he is still not good enough and that if something similar ever happened again Andy could be seriously harmed. Arthur tells him there may be a way to step up his training, and asks him if he has ever been to Apokolips.
