Synopsis for "Sea Devils"
Aquaman has come to the Black Sea after hearing about rumours of a poisonous mountain and finds a toxic waste dump after investigating. He further finds that it's mutating the sea-life around it and is unable to call out to them to swim away from it. He can however sense something big is buried beneath the toxic dump.
Arthur suddenly notices more of the toxic barrels being dumped by a ship and goes to investigate, hearing the sound of gunfire and spotting a minisub of the Sea Devils stationed alongside it. The group has boarded the ship and tries to blow it up, but they are interrupted by Aquaman who states they're acting like actual ecoterrorists by trying to kill the ship's crew.
Dane warns Arthur of the crew aiming at him and states that they're Russian mobsters working for Aleksandr Kuznetsov, a biotech billionaire dumping the toxic waste in the ocean to increase his profit. The Sea Devils manage to apprehend the crew in the gunfight without killing anyone and Dane tells Arthur they don't take lives. After Nick remembers about his explosives, he learns that the crew threw it in the sea.
The explosion of the toxic barrels causes a giant mutant anglerfish to be freed and it stars attacking the ship to feed on the toxic waste aboard it. Arthur stabs its esca, but it completely heals after consuming the toxic barrels falling from the ship.
