Synopsis for "Lamentations"
Having escaped his "reverse purgatory," Thanatos heads straight to Poseidonis to rule as their new king. But he finds the city empty, as Vulko and Koryak are leading the citizens of Poseidonis through the tunnels in search of one of the lost cities.
Meanwhile, Major Disaster uses his new powers granted by Neron to subtly alter events in order to cause a plane crash that would ultimately kill Aquaman. Major Disaster's plan works perfectly, except it kills Thanatos instead, as Aquaman is still trapped in that purgatory with Mera, Dolphin and A.J.
