I'll never forget the day we met. You moved like water itself. It took all I had to keep up. And then you did something magical... and I saw you for the first time... and you captured my heart... and I knew I would never be the same.

Synopsis for "Into The Blue"

In the brig on board her ship, Lori Lemaris explains to Aquaman that they are in Dagon's domain, a cosmic realm about as large as the moon with scattered cities and lands connected by rivers which flow to Dagon in the centre. Aquaman asks her why she is working for Dagon and she simply replies that she has no choice and things have changed. He then asks her to at least tell him if Atlantis and his family are safe, but she refuses to answer and leaves. Meanwhile back at Vivienne's forge, she and Arion open the lambda gate and follow Aquaman through.

The ship stops to resupply at Coral Outpost, one of the disparate settlements making up the realm. Aquaman can't break his chains, but realises he could break free if he weakens the wood of the ship. He draws the water out of it to dry it out and then headbutts the floor, smashing his way out while still in chains. Lori and the Mercenary Maids chase him out, but as he is swimming away from them he runs into Vivienne and Arion. Arion can't free Arthur from the chains but Vivienne breaks them with the new weapon: Thalassa the Trilance Saber. She gives Thalassa to Arthur and he uses it to cut the ship in half with a single swipe. Arthur easily fends off the Mercenary Maids and Arion tells them to run back to Dagon and tell him that a new king is coming.
