Ares src

Ares, the God of War, created a helmet that exponentially increased his powers and waged war against society for two years.

Ares, the God of War, forged a helmet that magnified his powers a hundred fold. As a result, a two-year war was created between his forces and everyone else against society. When Wonder Woman and Batman arrived to knock Ares’ helmet off, Ares managed to knock Wonder Woman unconscious. This caused Batman to believe his love was killed, resulting in him putting on the helmet and subsequently corrupting his moral code. Wayne would shortly kill Ares afterwards, but would wage a whole new war against society until his world began to collapse.
