Arlorans (also known as Gigantic butterfly-like aliens) are aliens from Arloran, a planet in the star system Procyon.
History
In their first encounter with the Terrans, the Arlorans were tracking Nath, a metal eater who was destroying their machines; now the monster was going to Earth in a meteor. The aliens sent a telepathic message to Earth's people warning of danger. A team of astronauts led by Jim Rankin managed to deflect the meteor into an eternal orbit around the Earth. [1]
In their second interaction with the people of Earth, the Arlorans kidnapped four experts (Jim Rankin included) to help them with a strange phenomenon on their planet that was shrinking them.[2]
