Professional History

Arnold Schwarzenegger is an Austrian-American actor, former politician, and former professional bodybuilder who has starred in some of the most iconic action movies of all time. He is perhaps best known for his role as the T-800 in the Terminator films, and has starred in many other beloved action and thriller movies, including Conan the Barbarian, Commando, Predator, Total Recall, and True Lies. He is a registered Republican and acted as the Governor of California from 2003 to 2011, with his initial election making him the first politician to be elected and have the number one movie at the box office with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

In 1997, Schwarzenegger took the role of Mister Freeze in Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin. The film was a commercial and critical disappointment, and is often listed among the worst films ever made. Many have directed particular criticism at Schwarzenegger's Freeze, whose over the top performance and constant use of ice puns irritated most audiences.
