Synopsis for "Doppelganger"
Jean Loring arrived with good news to Oliver Queen that she could get the case accusing him of being the Green Arrow dismissed. Black Siren, the Laurel Lance of Earth-2, claimed to be Earth-1 Laurel, announcing her survival and escape from the hands of Damien Darhk. Oliver, Quentin Lance, and Thea Queen are forced to play along with Black Siren's story, or else she would oust Oliver as the Green Arrow. Black Siren was brought to Starling General, but was escorted out by Ricardo Diaz's corrupt police force.
During the motion to have Oliver's case dismissed, DA Sam Armand came forward with a new witness to testify against Oliver, Roy Harper. Felicity Smoak locates where Roy is being held, and Oliver and Spartan recon the building, discovering Roy being tortured. Thea volunteered herself to infiltrate the building, but was unable to rescue Roy as SCPD SWAT team members storm the building. Team Arrow realized that SCPD were on the payroll of Ricardo Diaz, and asks Quentin and Dinah Drake to investigate the entire force. Black Siren showed up at Quentin's apartment, and gave them information as to where Diaz's hideout was.
Thea, Oliver, and Spartan infiltrate the hideout, taking out Diaz's men and the Bratva. Thea chased after Diaz herself, and after a brief fight, was saved by Oliver before Diaz could puncture her throat with an arrow. Oliver held Diaz at arrowpoint while Thea drove off with Roy. Oliver is forced to flee the scene, as Diaz's cops arrive. After the incident, Oliver visited Black Siren at Quentin's apartment, agreeing to give her chance to become more like the real Laurel as he intel on Diaz panned out. However, as Oliver left, Black Siren got a text from Diaz confirming her intel as ruse. Thea took Roy to her apartment, while they're both spied on by a League of Assassins member, who reported to her master that the heir to Ra's al Ghul has been located.
