Earth-21 is a reality within the Arrowverse multiverse, and the home of the Doom Patrol.
History
Pre-Crisis history
It is unclear what exactly Earth-21's full history was prior to the Crisis, but at some point, it was visited by the Flash of Earth-3, who listed it on his map of the Arrowverse multiverse.[1] On December 10, 2019, it was erased by the Anti-Monitor's antimatter wave during the Crisis.[2]
Post-Crisis history
Main article: Doom Patrol (TV Series)
Some time later, after the Spectre and the Paragons rebooted the multiverse, this world was restored along with the other destroyed realities.[3][4]
In Earth-21's new timeline, it was the home to a group of metahuman superheroes with bizarre powers known as the Doom Patrol, who operated throughout the 20th century until they were defeated by Mister Nobody.[5] Years later, Niles Caulder, their founder, performed many experiments in immortality to outlive his powerful daughter on several unwitting test subjects. These traumatized metahumanss all came to live together in a manor house owned by Caulder and acted as a support group for one another.[6]
Over the years, these test subjects encountered and fought several esoteric threats, such as Mister Nobody,[7] the Candlemaker,[8] the Brain,[9] and more, eventually deciding to become the new Doom Patrol. Eventually, they faced the deity Lord Immortus,[10] and after defeating them, quietly disbanded to leave heroics to other, more qualified superheroes.[11]
