Earth-2 is the home reality of Zoom (Hunter Zolomon), where many of the world's metahumans have become villains in his employ.

History

Earth-2 had a history very similar to Earth-1 of the Arrowverse except had many more wars including the War of the Americas. When Robert Queen's yacht crashed he survived instead of his son and became The Arrow after being rescued from the island. After Harrison Wells particle accelerator exploded many people gained superpowers and most of them chose to work for Zoom and secretly disguised himself as The Flash. When Barry Allen and Cisco Ramom went to Earth-2 Zoom chased after Harrison Wells and killed a few of the metahumans working for him. Eventually Zoom tried to conquer Earth-1 but was defeated there and became the Black Flash. A few months later Jesse Wells discovered she gained superspeed and became the superhero Jess Quick.

In 2019, Earth-2 was destroyed by an anti-matter wave. The only known survivor is Laurel Lance. After the Crisis ended, the Spectre and the Paragons restored the multiverse, although subtle changes were made. For example, Earth-Prime, was a bit of an amalgamation of Earth-1, Earth-38 and Black Lightning's Earth. Still, the multiverse was restored, and Earth-2 was no exception, as it was restored as well, now populated by a new Justice Society.
