Earth-666 is a reality in the Multiverse where The Devil aka Lucifer Morningstar eventually retired to after leaving Hell.

History

Pre-Crisis

Some time in 2011, Lucifer Morningstar decided to leave Hell and chose to retire on Earth-666. He came to live in Los Angeles where he opened his own bar, The Lux.

In December 2019, during the Crisis, John Constantine, John Diggle and a future Mia Smoak journeyed from Earth-1 to this universe in order to meet with the Devil.[1]

John Constantine asked the Devil to repay a former debt, involving Lucifer's friend, Mazikeen. After flirting with Mia Smoak and taunting Constantine, Lucifer gifted them a Purgatory teleporting card which they used to journey into the afterlife realm.[1]

Not long after Lucifer's meeting with the heroes of Earth-1, Earth-666 was erased by an antimatter wave that was previously unleashed into the Multiverse by the Anti-Monitor's Antimatter Cannon.[1] After The Spectre and the Paragons rebooted the Multiverse,[2] Earth-90 was restored to the existence along all the other erased realities.

Post-Crisis

 Main article: Lucifer (TV Series)

After the Crisis, Lucifer Morningstar resumed his life on Earth in the restored Earth-666, albeit with major life changes: in the restored continuity, in 2011, he brought Mazikeen with him during his retirement on Earth.

In 2016, Lucifer eventually met the LAPD detective, Chloe Decker and began helping her solve murder mysteries as an LAPD consultant.[3]

Notes

  • Earth-666 is the setting of the Lucifer tv show in the Post-Crisis Multiverse.
  • Although his fate wasn't shown, Lucifer, who knew about the Crisis,[1] survived the destruction of Earth-666, probably due being the Devil himself.
