"Arseface" is a troubled teenager whose head was horribly disfigured in a failed suicide attempt.
History
The son of Sherriff Hugo Root, he was an outcast and easy target for bullying. His father was abusive to him and his mother. When he learned of the suicide of his idol Kurt Cobain, he and his friend "Pube" decided to do the same. Whereas Pube died, he lived as he had shot his chin off. Following the incident, his mother fled the household and expressed her hatred for both of them.
He witnessed the humilation and subsequent suicide of his father at the hands of Jesse Custer. He swore revenge, but the preacher enlightened him about his father's true nature. He became one of Custer's companions as they traveled to New Orleans.
