Artemis was a high ranking general in the Themysciran army.

History

At the bidding of the Gods of Olympus, she lead the army to the United States with Hermes. The Gods wanted Superman to forsake Earth.

As the presence of the Gods grew on Paradise Island, resistance grew too. Wonder Woman brought several other heroes to the island and Artemis was among the first to join them. During the ensuing battle, Artemis was killed when she jumped in front of a bolt Hera shot at Hippolyta.
