History
When his wife, Crystal, decided to turn him into the Gotham City Police Department, he forced her to overdose on her favorite pills. On the night of his big scheme, he found that his daughter, Stephanie was waiting for him and planned to have him overdose. Realizing that she could physically force him to overdose, she tried to run away. When Batman came to intervene, she used to opportunity to shove the pills down his throat, killing him.[1]
