- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Super Friends and its tie-in and comic book series. It is an adaptation of Aquaman. The original character was created by Mort Weisinger and Paul Norris and first appeared in More Fun Comics #73.
- Aquaman was voiced by Norman Alden for the series produced from 1973 to 1977 and William Callaway for the series produced from 1978 to 1985.
