History

Arthur Pemberton is the nephew of Sylvester Pemberton, the original Star Spangled Kid. He was the leader of the Strike Force, a criminal paramilitary group, which he financed with the Pemberton fortune until he was defeated by his uncle and his associates in the Justice Society of America. Years later, Arthur and the Strike Force returned to challenge the JSA All-Stars.
