Ashley Zolomon is a detective for the KCPD and the ex-wife of Hunter Zolomon, aka Zoom.
History
Ashley was a profiler for the FBI, working alongside her father Derek Fox and her husband Hunter Zolomon. One day the FBI had Lyle Corley, aka the Clown, cornered in a house. Hunter insisted that Corley would not be armed, as he was obsessed with using his clown-inspired gadgets and would never use a mundane weapon like a gun. Ashley suggested they should still be careful but Derek had so much faith in Hunter's abilities as a profiler that he breached the house without taking the usual precautions. In fact, Corley did have a gun and fired on the agents, killing Derek and wounding Hunter.
As his profile had seemingly been disastrously wrong, Hunter was fired from the FBI. Ashley also left him, blaming him for her father's death. Hunter moved to Keystone City and became a profiler for the KCPD. After a series of further tragedies, Hunter became the supervillain known as Zoom. Ashley later left the FBI and joined the KCPD as a detective.

- Ashley Zolomon was created by Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins, first appearing in The Flash (Volume 2) #197. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Ashley Zolomon first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in The Flash (Volume 5) #80 by Joshua Williamson and Scott Kolins.
