Your time will come, Diana. When you're ready. Look to the Golden Warrior Asteria. She did not become a legend out of haste. She did it through true acts of bravery. Like patience, diligence, and the courage to face the truth.
The legendary Golden Warrior Asteria is considered the greatest warrior of the Amazons of Themyscira.
History
When mankind enslaved the Amazons and Queen Hippolyta freed them, someone had to stay behind to hold back the tide of men so the others could escape to Themyscira. The Amazons gave up all of their armor to make her one suit strong enough to take on the whole world, the Gold Armor, and Asteria sacrificed herself for a better day for others. In memory of her, a statue was erected and placed in a place of honor in the great stadium of Themyscira.
When Wonder Woman came to Man's World, she searched for her, but all she could find was her Gold Armor.
Asteria was revealed to be alive and living among humanity in secret, much like Diana.
