Located in Metropolis, the Athenian Women's Shelter is a privately owned non-profit organization ostensibly owned and operated by the Greek Goddess Athena.
History
The inside of the building is patterned in the style of ancient Greek architecture, and functions more as an exclusive resort than an actual shelter. The women who reside at the shelter are hand-picked by Athena herself and include retired super-villain Harleen Quinzel, as well as the surrogate Catwoman, Holly Robinson. The shelter was shut down after it was revealed that "Athena" was actually Granny Goodness in disguise.
