Atlan

Atlan is a member of the royal family of Atlantis. In Post-Crisis continuity he is the father of Aquaman, Deep Blue, and Ocean Master. He is a sorcerer with a much greater lifespan than normal Atlanteans, and he has lived for centuries. His blond hair made him a pariah among his people, because of the Curse of Kordax. Aquaman was conceived when Atlan cuckolded his brother Kraken's descendant Trevis, and slept with the queen Atlanna. This is altered in the New 52 reboot, where Tom Curry is Aquaman's father. In this continuity, he is the original king of Atlantis who went mad after his brother Orin betrayed him.

Atlan was created by Peter David and Esteban Maroto, first appearing in Atlantis Chronicles #5 (1990).
