Atlan

Atlan is an Atlantean in the DC Universe. In the New Earth continuity, he was a banished Atlantean and Aquaman's real father. Following the New 52 reboot seen in Flashpoint, he is the founder and original king of Atlantis, who went mad after betrayal from his own brother, Aquaman's ancestor. Atlan was created by Peter David and Esteban Maroto, first appearing in Atlantis Chronicles #5. (1990) His new incarnation was created by Geoff Johns and Paul Pelletier, first appearing in Aquaman #17. (2013)
