Atlanna is the queen of Atlantis.
History
At some point in time, Atlanna met and fell in love with Tom Curry. She fell pregnant and gave birth to Arthur whom she left with his father.
A couple of years later, she fought Nerrisa in the ring. If she won, Xebel would remain under Atlantean rule. Atlanna won by killing Nerrisa.
When Arthur was under a murder threat, Tom called Atlanna for help. Atlanna arrived with her army to confront Ryus, the king of Xebel. Arthur and Mera, Ryu's daugther, were able to defuse the situation before a battle ensued.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Atlantean Physiology: The Atlanteans are offshoots of humanity that are biologically adapted to the deep ocean environment. All their abilities are by-products of their bodies being adapted to survive unprotected in the tremendous pressures of the ocean depths.
- Marine Telepathy: Like her son, Atlanna has the ability to commune with and command any and all native sea life.
